Coach Rental Across France

Coach Trips by Purpose

Eight kinds of group trip, each with its own rules. Pick the one closest to yours to see what the organiser needs to settle before the coach is booked.

One coach, many kinds of trip

A school outing needs written parental authorisation and enough supervising adults. A sports team crossing a border needs a journey form for the occasional trip. A wine tour depends on estate visits booked in advance. A wedding may pair a coach for the guests with a car with driver for the couple.

Airport runs start many trips

Many itineraries begin or end at an airport, where the rules on coach waiting are strict. The notes below cover three airports. Each airport page has the rest.

Rules organisers should know

  • At Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly, pre-booked coaches and cars with driver (VTC) wait in the airport operator's professional car parks (Parking Pro), entered by number-plate recognition; a pass includes up to 2 hours per visit
  • At Nice Côte d'Azur, each terminal has a coach station with bays for tourist coaches; access needs prior authorisation and a coach may stay at most 1 hour
  • Paris-Beauvais is about 82 km by road from central Paris; group coaches pick up only in the airport's private coach park between car parks P2 and P4

Organisers ask

Can one booking combine several services?

Yes. An airport arrival, three days of excursions and a departure can sit on one quote.

Can you book a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?

Yes. Say how many passengers use wheelchairs. In an accessible minibus, wheelchair positions replace seats, so the count changes the vehicle.

How are multi-day tours planned?

Within the EU drivers' hours: at most 9 hours of driving a day and at least 11 hours of daily rest. Long legs may need a second driver.
