Coach Rental Across France

Coaches for teams, clubs and supporters

Sports travel runs to a fixed start time. Plan the arrival at the ground first, then work back to the departure time.

Choose the vehicle by squad and kit

Kit bags fill space fast. A full-size coach puts them in the underfloor holds and keeps the aisle clear. A minibus has up to 17 seats including the driver, but its rear luggage space shrinks once every seat is taken.

The licence follows the size. Category D covers any passenger vehicle above 9 seats, counting the driver. Category D1 stops at 17 seats and 8 m in length. Players and staff wear a belt on every seat that has one.

Stadium coach parks

Ask the home club where visiting coaches go on match day. At the Decathlon Arena near Lille, the Parking C2 BUS takes about 40 coaches, free on event days while space lasts, with a footbridge to the ground. At La Beaujoire in Nantes, coaches drop off at car park no. 5 on the north side. Groupama Stadium near Lyon wants on-site parking booked in advance. Around Stade Chaban-Delmas in Bordeaux, parking is scarce, so plan a drop-off and a wait elsewhere.

Rules organisers should know

  • Category D covers passenger vehicles with more than 9 seats including the driver; D1 covers vehicles of up to 17 seats including the driver and up to 8 m long
  • Roland-Garros 2027 runs from 17 May to 6 June at Stade Roland-Garros, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris

Tournaments and away trips abroad

A coach taking a team to a match in another EU country runs under a licence communautaire. Because it is an occasional trip, it also carries a journey form. The operator handles both.

For one occasional trip abroad, the weekly rest can slide by up to 12 days. A tournament lasting several days benefits. Each day's driving cap stays where it was.

Organisers ask

When is Roland-Garros in 2027?

It runs 17 May to 6 June 2027, in the west of Paris (16th arrondissement). In Paris a coach only sets down and picks up, engine off, so plan where it parks in between.

How do groups get to the 24 Heures du Mans?

The 2027 edition covers 9 to 13 June; the race itself fills the weekend of 12-13 June. For access, the organiser recommends parking at the motorway exits and taking its shuttles. No coach drop-off point for 2027 has been published yet.

Can the coach stay with the team overnight?

Yes, if it is booked that way. The driver still needs at least 11 hours of rest, so a late finish moves the next morning's departure.
