Toulouse-Blagnac coach transfers: the Rue des arrivées and the city
Toulouse-Blagnac has one terminal and a professional road for coaches. A stop there lasts 30 minutes at most, so the group must be ready when the coach pulls in.
The Rue des arrivées
Occasional coaches and cars with driver use the Rue des arrivées, a one-way road beside the terminal for professional use. Entry needs an access title issued under contract with the airport, and charges apply. The plan marks a zone for charter coaches.
The limit is 30 minutes per stop. Gather the group in the hall, count heads, then call the driver. A coach that waits through a slow baggage reclaim runs out of time.

The coach station
The airport coach station, in front of the Hall B forecourt, has six bays open day and night. It serves operators with an access contract, who apply at least two months ahead and receive a bay and a time slot. A stop there never exceeds one hour. No separate coach waiting park is published.
Where the coach collects the group
- Occasional coaches and private-hire vehicles, including VTC, use the 'Rue des arrivées', a one-way professional road at the terminal that needs an access title issued under contract with the airport, for professional use only; they may stop there for at most 30 minutes, and charges apply. The plan of this road marks separate zones for charter coaches and crews, hotel and company shuttles, on-demand transport, taxis and regular lines.
Coach parking and access
- The airport coach station (gare routière), on the ground floor in front of the Hall B forecourt, has six bays open 24 hours a day; it is reserved for coach operators with an access contract, who apply at least 2 months ahead and are given a bay and a time slot, with a stop never longer than 1 hour. No separate coach waiting park is published.
Road to the city centre
- about 11 km by road to Place du Capitole, about 20-25 min in light traffic; longer at peak times
The drive to the Capitole
Place du Capitole is about 11 km by road, around 20 to 25 minutes in quiet traffic. The Toulouse low-emission zone covers the city inside the rocade, all day, every day. Crit'Air 4, 5 and unclassified vehicles are banned. In practice that excludes petrol coaches registered before 1 October 2001 and diesel ones before 1 October 2009. Ask for the coach's sticker class when you book; the rules shift.
The Capitole square itself is closed to tourist coaches except to serve its hotels. The coach must be 10 m long or less, the hotel told in advance, and the route is in by rue de Rémusat, out by rue Gambetta. A full-size coach sets down elsewhere, for example at 29 allées Jean-Jaurès.
Long days from Toulouse
Carcassonne is about 1 h 15 from Toulouse and Lourdes about 2 h. EU drivers' hours cap driving at 9 hours a day, so a transfer followed by a long excursion needs checking against the driver's day.
Organisers ask
Can we take the tram into town?
The airport states that tram T2 is closed for the metro line C works. Check the current rail link before travel. The airport shuttle bus reaches the centre in under 25 minutes.
Where can the coach park in Toulouse?
Options include the Zénith coach park, the Île du Ramier in the daytime, the guarded gare routière at Matabiau with booking, and the Centre Routier de Fondeyre.
Is a midi-coach better for the Capitole hotels?
Often. Only coaches of 10 m or less may serve the square's hotels, so a midi-coach can reach the door where a full-size coach cannot.
