Coach Rental Across France

Six Vehicle Classes, All with a Driver

From a 57-seat autocar to a three-passenger car with driver. Every vehicle comes from a licensed partner operator, driver included.

Size by headcount, then check the route

Start with passengers and luggage. A full-size coach seats 49 to 57, with underfloor holds. A midi coach seats 29 to 35 and suits narrow streets and small venues. A minibus or Sprinter-style minibus takes 9 to 17 including the driver. A car with driver (VTC) carries one to three, or up to eight in a van-type VTC. In a wheelchair-accessible minibus, wheelchair positions replace seats.

Then the route. Cannes bars tourist coaches of Euro IV or older from the whole commune. Every coach and minibus entering a low-emission zone needs a Crit'Air sticker, foreign-registered vehicles included.

Organisers ask

What licence does the driver hold?

Category D for coaches and midi coaches. D1 for minibuses of up to 17 seats including the driver and no longer than 8 m. For a car with driver, the préfecture issues the driver a VTC professional card.

Do coaches have seat belts?

French law requires coach transport to use vehicles fitted with seat belts, and every passenger wears one where the seat has it.

Can a VTC wait at the kerb for us?

It may pick up only passengers who booked in advance, and may not wait on the public road for customers. The driver must be able to show your booking.
