Coach Rental Across France

Coach Transfers from Twelve French Airports

Every airport handles coaches its own way: where they wait, where they collect passengers and how long they may stay. Each page below covers one airport.

What decides an airport pickup

Coaches rarely use the terminal kerb. At Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly, pre-booked coaches wait in the Parking Pro professional car parks. At Bordeaux-Mérignac the quick drop-off zone has a 3.00 m height limit, too low for a full-size coach. At Toulouse-Blagnac the express car parks stop at 2.75 m, while car park P6 has no limit.

Distance matters too. Paris-Beauvais is about 82 km from central Paris, and EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg about 135 km from Strasbourg. The CDG terminals are renumbered in March 2027, so go by the terminal shown on your booking.

Organisers ask

What do you need for an airport pickup?

Flight number, scheduled arrival time, headcount and the amount of luggage. With the flight number, the pickup can be planned around the real arrival.

Is the drive into Paris inside the low-emission zone?

CDG and Orly sit outside the Grand Paris zone, which covers the area inside the A86. The drive into central Paris enters it, so between 08:00 and 20:00 the coach needs a Crit'Air 1 or 2 sticker.

Can the coach collect us on the Swiss side at Basel?

Coaches use the coach station in the French sector, for at most 30 minutes per movement. Vehicles cannot cross between the French and Swiss sectors without passing customs.
