Coaches for the 24 Hours of Le Mans
The Circuit des 24 Heures, in the Sarthe, hosts the 95th edition from 9 to 13 June 2027. The race itself takes the weekend of 12 and 13 June. Here the coach plan is mostly about distance and the driver's rest.
How far, and from where
Le Mans is about 90 km from Tours, about 1 h 15 min by car in light traffic. From central Paris it is about 215 km, about 2 h 30 min, on the A11 motorway. A coach runs slower than those car times, and race traffic adds more.
Tours sits on the A10 and is also served by the A85 and A28. All three are toll motorways, and the tolls are part of the route the operator plans.

A race that runs through the night
Twenty-four hours of racing does not fit one driver's day. Under Regulation (EC) No 561/2006 a driver has a 9-hour daily driving limit, takes 45 minutes off after 4.5 hours, and needs a daily rest of no less than 11 hours. A group that wants both the start and the finish needs a plan for the night: a hotel, two separate transfers, or a driver resting while the group watches.
Say which part of the race the group wants to see. It changes the journeys and the driver plan.

Arriving at the circuit
The organiser points spectators to park-and-ride sites by the motorway exits, with a shuttle onward. It lists two: 2e RIMa and University. North of the track are the paid Expo and Panorama car parks.
A coach set-down point for 2027 is not yet known; full access details come from the organiser nearer the race. The operator confirms the set-down point once it is out.
Organisers ask
Is Tours or Paris the better base?
Tours is closer, about 90 km away. Paris offers more flights and hotels but means about 215 km each way. For a two-day stay, a base in Tours cuts the driving.
Can the coach stay at the circuit overnight?
That depends on the 2027 access rules, which are not out yet. Ask again once the organiser publishes them.
Does Tours have a low-emission zone?
Yes. Tours Métropole has a ZFE-m that runs around the clock. Coaches registered before 30 September 2001 are barred, and a Crit'Air sticker is required. Check the current rules before travel.
When should we book?
Once you hold race tickets and know the days. Booking early gives more choice of vehicle and timing.
