Coaches for Villefranche-sur-Mer Cruise Days
At Villefranche-sur-Mer the ship stays out in the bay. Tenders bring passengers in to Port de la Santé, in the middle of the town, and the coach day starts from there.
Tenders set the timing
Ships anchor in the bay, using two French Navy mooring buoys. Passengers land at the gare maritime, inside a security zone. Tenders run in waves, so a group can reach the quay well after the ship drops anchor.
Time the coach to the group's tender slot, not to the ship's arrival. Give the operator the ship's name, the expected landing time and a contact for the day. On call days the port office is staffed from the moment the first ship reaches the bay to its departure.

Meeting point ashore
There is no published coach stop at the landing quay. The operator confirms the meeting point before the call, and the group walks to it.

Nice: stops and coach parks
Nice is close: about 7 km by road to Place Masséna, around 15 minutes. Nice has 64 stops for tourist coaches, mostly in front of hotels, with a 30-minute limit. After setting down, a coach goes to a coach park: avenue du XVe Corps or Parc Phoenix, both booked through the city's NiceBusPark service, or the MIN coach park near the airport.
The Promenade des Anglais is closed to tourist coaches unless they hold a waiver. Nice's low-emission zone shuts out coaches rated Crit'Air 4 or 5, and those with no sticker. Have the rating checked against the rule in force before the call.
Monaco and the hill villages
Monaco is about 15 km from the port, about 25 minutes. Monaco-Ville is off-limits to vehicles registered anywhere but Monaco or the Alpes-Maritimes, so the advised coach park is the Parking des Pêcheurs below. Booking is compulsory for groups of 20 or more at both the Prince's Palace and the Musée océanographique.
Èze and Saint-Paul-de-Vence suit a half day. At Saint-Paul a coach must use the chemin des Trious coach park, about ten minutes' walk from the village.
Organisers ask
What if the tenders run late?
Landing times move on busy days. Agree a waiting window when you book, and name a contact so the driver hears about delays directly.
How far is Nice airport?
About 15 km, around 30 minutes in light traffic.
Full-size coach or something smaller?
A full-size coach seats 49 to 57 and suits a large shore group. A midi coach of 29 to 35 seats copes better in narrow streets and small venues.
